Why 2012 can be YOUR year…

You’ve probably come across a lot of marketers who claim they are living the “Internet lifestyle”…

fancy homes, fast cars, dream vacations, bloated bank accounts, etc.

Some of them are lies. Big fat lies. But the truth is this. Not all are liars. There indeed ARE some people who ARE actually living their dream life.

If you want to be in the group of elite marketers who actually earn big money, you need to learn how to see through hype, seize real opportunities, and most importantly, take action.

To become a successful marketer, you must follow a proven system. A system that helps you work smarter, not harder. A system that saves you time.

After 3 years working in “underground” labs, two veteran Internet marketers have created a really powerful newbie-friendly system that:

- Completely automates product branding with your name as the Author

- Completely automates branding the graphics

- Completely automates the creation of sales letter, squeeze page, download page etc.

And you can do all of this with…

- No Photoshop
- No Html Editors
- No special software
- No experience
- No outsourcing

This is a true innovation, and nothing else like it exists on the planet. I know, this sounds a little overblown, but it is not. It does what it says, and much more.

I have checked this system out myself, and was super impressed. I am sure you’ll be too!

Simply said, it’s a game changer.

And what if you could get access to the same system at a very special introductory price – how about a 90% discount?

Don’t wait any longer, because this special price won’t last long.

Failure Is Deception

We often try and fail. That is an everyday occurrence for entrepreneurs. A new marketing campaign that we thought would convert like crazy does not get one click… an offer we thought couldn’t miss converts at less than a tenth of a percent… but we use these failures as benchmarks to test solutions to the poor results.

In relationships, failure usually appears more permanent. If your spouse leaves you because of your character flaws, or when you hit it off wrong with a potential partner… it can seem insurmountable. When you fail to become the person you need to be, you need to look at that as a benchmark, too. You have a starting point, not a final score. This is when you need to have more faith in your ability to adapt than ever before.

Often we see a failure as something inevitable and final. “I made a horrible first impression with her, she is never going to want to see me again!” Even when we agree with that logic, it is really not based in fact. Ok, so that first impression is going to make your subsequent dealings with her more challenging, if you give in to the deception of the initial failure, you are going to keep acting like she is never going to give you a second chance.

But what if you had faith that you could change her opinion of you over time? Would that change how you would behave in future communications with her? It is that faith that you should use to choose your actions when things seem hopeless.

Your business plan may be horrible, so having faith in bringing that xylophone sheet music software to market may be misguided… so seek professional counsel, do your research and know your market. In relationships, you should seek counsel of a professional as well, because you may have some things about you that are a real turn off. That third eye on your forehead may not be the easiest thing to overcome, and you will need to speak to someone who will discuss how you deal with something like that before you invest a whole lot in flowers and candy.

The thing is, you do need to do a lot of work to overcome failure. It is not going to magically solve itself for you. You need to invest in yourself to take yourself out of the losing column and into the winners circle. Look at the NFL teams who finished last in the 2010 season. Detroit looks amazing, because they invested in some good players, and worked hard during the off season to create a synergy that can beat some of the best teams in the NFL.

If your wife leaves you because you leave your underwear on the floor and pee on the toilet seat, you need to learn to pick up your underwear and start sitting down to pee if that is what is really the cause of her leaving. You need to open the lines of communication and actually listen. Then take action. The initial failure was not the peeing and the underwear on the floor, it was the failure to acknowledge that the underwear and wet seat were a problem to begin with. Without a real understanding that your actions are incorrect, you own the failure. If you take the time to learn from the failure, you can begin to overcome it. But you have to want it enough to make the changes that need to be made.

Just don’t allow failure to be the end. That is the real failure.

The Meaning Of Success?

I sit here contemplating my life as it stands, and I have to wonder… am I successful yet?

Lots of people ask the same questions… Like Berklee Blogger Arielle says:

I used to constantly worry about what other people expected of me. Being an over achiever all my life, I was that kid that always did what I thought was best for me in the long run. Granted, it’s gotten me far and I couldn’t be happier about my decisions. I always had a plan. Take all honors classes in high school. Go to college. Graduate. Get a job. Then what? The “plan” has been halted, mostly because I don’t have one.

The Meaning of Success – Berklee Blogs

The Meaning of Success. As a recent college graduate I’ve thought a lot on the topic of success. What does it mean to be successful? Am I, in fact, successful? I came to the realization that it means different things for

Recent Wharton grad Lauren Fleischer writes about Denise Morrison:

What struck me most about Denise’s story was her focus on accomplishing her goals. "The end game that I set the bar at for myself was to be the CEO of a Fortune 500 company," she said. In the context of "The Literature of Success," I took this statement to heart. Of course, Morrison was asked to speak about her career path, but was all her hard work for the one moment of being named CEO?

A Wharton grad’s meaning of success – Postcards

I recently got a call from Lauren Fleischer, a senior at the University of Pennsylvania and head of Wharton Women. I knew Wharton Women, having once given a talk about leadership and success to this student group. While I

Now I helped raise 3 daughters, and they are not setting goals of being the CEO of a Fortune 500 company, but they do have goals. I am not nearly as close to them as I would have chosen to be, but that is because of some early decisions in my own career, where I was driven to succeed at keeping a roof over their heads and food on the table at the price of not being there most of the time.

I struggle with that.

I am sure many entrepreneurs have their stuff together much better than I do, and they do not yet believe they are successful. It is all about the perception.

If you perceive your life a success, then you are successful, by your own definition of success. We each have a different definition of what success is for each of us. I just have not met my own definition of success.

I believe that we should have a multipronged approach to success. One prong is the financial success, where you do not have to rely on anyone for money. (remember, these are my own definition of success, yours should vary, according to your own beliefs) Another prong is relationship success, where you are as comfortable with another’s company as you are with yourself. Sometimes, you have to work on yourself to make your relationships work… Another prong is the spiritual. If you get your relationship with the creator right, it places you at peace with yourself.

Others have other prongs, some prongs are bigger than others. It is very much a self definition of the meaning of success. This is where putting yourself in contact with the right people can help, because you are more likely to level off at the average of the success levels of the people you are around the most. And that is very scary indeed if you surround yourself with people who have no idea of success principles.

Success Has A Price

I am sorry… it really does. Everyone pays that price, even when they do nothing, because failure is a price in itself.

The couch potato is paying a price with his health, with money he is not earning and his life is a total waste (maybe not to him, but to his friends and family who cannot enjoy their time with him).

I received an unsubscribe request early this morning from a guy who said he was just starting out in online marketing and he didn’t realize that it cost so much to get started online. I almost replied back to him, but decided that this was one of those moments when I need to tell more than just one person about the price of success.

When starting out in any endeavor, you will pay a price in money, time or energy (which actually costs both time and money – I will explain this a little later). Even if you can barter your way into all of your tools for your business, you are still trading time or money or both for the tools.

What Is The Price?

All business tools cost something, but they also save you both time and money when you use them. Having an autoresponder saves you time, because you don’t have to email everyone individually, take people off your mailing list one at a time when people complain to you that you are spamming them, and you don’t have to be fed that negative energy when someone tells you what an asshole you are for emailing them on a Sunday.

When you do it all yourself, you have to maintain a positive energy or your results will suck. It is just a fact of life, you are emitting energy with every thought you have. If you are emitting positive energy, people around you (and your circle of influence – even in social media and at the other end of your email) will feed off of that positive energy and their mood will improve slightly. If someone was already in a positive frame of mind, they will respond positively, and if they were in a negative frame of mind, they may respond less negatively (like only deleting your email instead of pressing the spam button).

Negative energy is very draining. It can take a positive person and suck the joy out of them. It can take a negative person and send them into a rage. THe middle of the spectrum people will tip into the negative slightly. If you are working on your business while in a negative frame of mind, people will sense it. And you WILL affect those people who actually still want to be around you.

How Can You Choose Your Price?

The price is still the same, either time, money or energy (some would argue that time and money are both energy). But you can choose whether to use one or the other, and get the best returns from what you expend (invest). You see, if you take the time to organize, prioritize and delegate… your energy investment is minimal, your time investment is going to be much smaller and your money investment may be slightly higher, but you will get it back because your time and energy is more valuable when you are working on those things that you are best suited to accomplish.

Time management is always touted as one of the most necessary business activities, and it really is. But you have to know yourself better if you really want to minimize the energy waste. That is why I was excited when I took the assessment that my friends Joey Smith and Joey Montez put together (disclaimer – Joey and Joey have a coaching program that I could get paid a commission on if you choose to purchase it from your interaction with their website… but the assessment is totally free and you are under no obligation to purchase anything to get the results of the assessment). They wanted to make certain that everybody could use this to help them define themselves better.

Here is the link to the assessment:

Once you know what your body was designed to do, it is much easier to figure out what tasks will allow you to resonate more positive energy! Why should you keep struggling and paying a higher price in energy and time (your health)? Figure out what role you should be playing in your own business.

Then use simple time management principals to selectively handle the projects (and the parts of those projects) that you are better suited to work on. Delegate the rest using a trusted source of trained workers. I am finally starting on my own journey to firing myself from many of the tasks that I was putting off doing, because I do not enjoy them as much as I enjoy telling you about the resources I have found in my quest for finding the Resolve To Succeed! I will be continually documenting my journey! Stay tuned!

Decision Making Means Seeing With Many Eyes

When you take a good hard look at your business,
do you feel like you are accomplishing what you
set out to accomplish?

I sometimes have to take a good hard look at what
I am doing and what I was intending to do and then
decide whether I should continue on my current path
or make adjustments.

Many times, I will look at the facts, take the time to
write down my observations, and then take the facts
to my mastermind group to help me look at it with a
different set of eyes! If I try to make all of my decisions
based on my own bias, I could miss something
important that my mastermind members might see.

Does this mean that I should let my mastermind group
make decisions for me?

NO!

You are the ultimate captain of your ship. You should
take each decision you make under advisement, but
make your own decisions after listening to the people
you trust.

What does this have to do with you?

Well, I am forming another mastermind group on
Thursday afternoons, and I am looking for 5 to 10
people who are serious about attending each week.

You have to be able to attend, and you have to
participate. Which means you would be telling us
about an aspect of your business that is working for
you, an aspect of your business that you are struggling
with and finally what you hope to accomplish in the
next 7 days.

As a mastermind group, our job is to hold each other
accountable, and to help each other when possible.

How can you get involved?

Your first step is to let me know you are interested.

Let me know the following:
What is your business

How long you have been in business

How long you have been pursuing online marketing

Your strengths – Those things that make you able to stand out!

What you scored on this assessment:
http://resolvetosucceed.com/go/assessment/

You do not need to make any purchases to get your results on
the above assessment, but I will be requiring a monetary
commitment from all members of the mastermind in order to
be sure we have people who are serious in attending the calls.

I am not trying to make money from this, I just want a
commitment from members to be sure you are going to
attend. I was thinking that $47 is large enough to show
that people are serious without placing a large burden
on anyone.

The goal with any mastermind is to grow your business
profits and eliminate roadblocks.  Without the input from
all members of a mastermind, we are not seeing everything.

So if you would like to join this Thursday Mastermind, simply
use the contact form below to let me know the answers to the
above questions, and I will let you know when we are ready to
begin. If we get more than 10 people, we will divide into 2
groups.
